Romulus Andrei works as Director at Banca Transilvania and has three decades of experience in the Romanian banking sector, with a strong exposure to the real estate sector. After graduating from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies in 1992, he joined Eximbank, and then moved to ABN Amro Romania, learning banking successively as Senior Dealer in the Treasury Department, then as Branch Manager, and as Head of Unit in Corporate. In 2007, he was named Director of the Mid Corporate Division at Millennium Bank. Next, he was named Corporate Director at Austrian Volksbank Romania, the bank which was taken over by Banca Transilvania in 2015. Following the acquisition, Romulus transferred the Structured Finance concept that includes Project Finance, Syndication Loans and Public Sector Financing.
