Georgeta successfully led the opening of the Swissôtel Poiana Brasov- the first 5 star hotel in Poiana Brasov and the first Swissotel in Romania. With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, she previously managed the iconic Hotel Cismigiu in Bucharest for the past decade, where she led its successful reopening in 2012. Passionate of hospitality training and people development, Georgeta is specialized in the Train the Trainer” method of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne within winsed.com facilitating courses of Hotel Administration, Cost Controlling, Customer Experience & Communication. Her career includes key roles within Accor Hotels Group, and she played a vital part in opening three hotels, including Sofitel Hotel back in 1994 and Romania’s first apart-hotel, Starlight Suiten, in 2009. She is an International Councillor for Europe with the Skal Club International, a member of FIHR (Hotel Industry Federation in Romania), and an active participant in the Professional Women Network, where she engages in mentoring activities. She was also a mentee in the Women on Boards program in 2021 and is a member of the Rotary Cismigiu Club.
