The first project conducted by Riad Abi Haidar with One United Properties is the opening of Mondrian Bucharest, a highly exclusive lifestyle hotel in downtown Bucharest, close to the Romanian Athénée. Mondrian is not just a hotel; it’s a lifestyle brand, promising a new era of sophisticated experiences and elevated living, that will contribute to making Bucharest and Romania more internationally known. His medium and long term objectives within One United include opening three hotels by 2030 and prospecting the market for attracting new global partners. A passionate hotelier, executive director, strategic thinker, and entrepreneurial leader, Riad Abi Haidar has over 20 years of experience in the international hospitality industry, developing and operating unique lifestyle hotels in the Middle East and South Asia. He has been rewarded for developing Ultra luxury hotels with international operators in Doha prior to FIFA 2022, as well as in Maldives, Antigua and various GCC countries.
